Kingdom come

I for some reason lately have been thinking about Heaven so much , I have this hard core longing for that awesome place. It makes me tear up just thinking about it. This song I have on one of my CDs says: The blind will see, the Lame will walk, the Hungry will feast, and the Weary will find rest. Its no secret we dont belong here, Those set apart by the grace of You And we look for the day when we go to a place Where the old becomes brand new.

I was studying some things about Gods Glory and I read some stuff about the throne room and I am in awe!

Revelation 4 says: The One who sat there (on the throne) had the appearance of jasper and carnelian (a reddish translucent to transparent milky or greyish quartz). A rainbow resembling an emerald, encircled the throne. From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. Before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.

Ezekiel 1:26-28 says: ...above the expanse over their heads was what looked like a throne of sapphire and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man, I saw from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal as if full of fire and that from there down he looked like fire and brilliant light surrounded him, like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it I fell facedown....

Notice that there are no words adequate enough to describe what these men saw? They are more awesome than we have things to liken them to. I cant even imagine what its going to be like, everything beyond our wildest imaginations. And if you are saved we will be able to enjoy them togeather for eternity.

This place is not our home, we dont belong here but the work isnt completed yet. If you have not been saved, or know someone you care about that isnt saved, please talk to them before its too late. Tell them you care about their soul and that Jesus loves them no matter what! The biggest lie we buy into is that we have pleanty of time when in reality we could be gone tonight.
