I am finally updating my blog since BOTH of my readers have commented on how behind I am. Things always get hectic around the Holidays and there is always a reason to put updating off for another time.
The Birthday party for Jesus went well, we didnt have a huge turnout but since it was the 1st annual one for FBCH I figured it would be small however, next year we will have a larger event.
The Christmas party for the community went extremely well. It was such a blessing to see the faces of the parents as they picked up the presents for their children and the best part was that the kids didnt know the church gave them to the parents so they could present them to the kids as if it were them who gave the gifts. It was cool also to see that there were gifts for the adults as well and everyone got a hot meal and to go boxes if they wanted them.
We have several different things planned for this year for the Children, the whole ministry and the way things are will be different and hopefully better than they have been. I am already preparing for VBS in August or possibly the end of July? I dont want to do it the week every other church is doing theirs so I am going to make some calls and see when others are scheduled. So if you would like to volunteer, every position is currently open, get dibs on what you want now since they will go fast!!!
Amy goes to the Dr on the 10th to hear the heartbeat of either Joshua Grant, or Allison Rebecca so please pray everything goes well.

:P - I do hate to state the fact that Auburn did beat Florida and so in fact Auburn beat OSU - as quoted by my dear husband. I am in no was rubbing this in.
