Its a BOY

Amy and I went to her Dr. appt today and right away the sonographer said its a boy. He is healthy and doing well, he is an overachiever like his dad, he is already almost 9 1/2 lbs. We have another appt next Monday and the Dr. is going to decide at the end of next week if he will induce or not so the baby doesnt get to be 11 lbs since they say that babies gain about 1/2 lb per week at the end of the pregnancy. That would mean the boy will be a toddler if we waited so who knows.....

I cant wait till my boy comes!! I told Amy I wanted to do his room in Scarlet and Grey. I told her instead of doing my Man room in a Buckeyes theme we will do the Little Mans room that way instead. Im not sure how much she likes that idea but its still open for discussion. (I think) I am so stoked for having a wonderful little girl and now a little big boy.

I am also thankful that he will grow up in church and in a godly home and pray that we can be godly parents who set an example for our children to follow. Besides after the Sunday evening service I can now rest at ease knowing the heart of our youth pastor and I realized we have one of the best youth programs around.

We still have not come to a final decision on the name yet but for some reason the Jeffrey really has stuck with us. Amy said if we name him Joshua Jeffrey David Smith (or without the David) I can call him JJ. Is that cruel and unusual punnishment? We might get a Sean in there somewhere too, not really sure yet.

I think Jeff and I, should bid on the right to be a part of his name.
By the way, how are those inexpensive golf clubs doing that I got you a break on? Not that it should have any bearing on the naming rights or anything, bwa, ha, ha, ha, ha.(evil laugh)

If you squeeze a "Sean" in there, I hope you spell it right. "Shawn"
