Ok, semi-regular updater

I really do want to update regularly but I never can find the time. That is, until my friends hound me then I make sure I make it a priority. haha

Well about 15 people showed up for choir tonight, not sure if it was people being sick or parents at the Awana derby or the fact that they knew we don’t sing this Sunday. It seems like some people don’t come at all anymore. It was really good to see Nancy back.

The first week of March I start going to school 3 nights a week. Wed, Thurs, and Friday. I have a network security, math, and a film and literature class. It sure is expensive!! Tuition is now up to 490.00 a credit hour now and my 3 books cost almost 200.00. I am very thankful that when I served in the military, I elected to get the college education benefit, to pay for it!! I have written 6 essays in the last 7 weeks and I have to write one more for the final exam.

I am thankful that the Kenya mission team is back and safe. I am looking forward to going at the end of July, right after VBS ends. I usually take the whole week of VBS off but I will not be able to do that this year, I am only taking 1/2 days so hopefully I can get all I need done in 1/2 the time. I can’t wait till we get to see the pictures and hear the stories from the trip; I know it will only make me want to go more than I already do.

Upwards is almost over!!! One Saturday left. I hope we win. I mean if we were keeping score I would hope that we would win. Once it ends I am going to take a break for a bit and concentrate on school. The most classes I have taken a quarter is 2 and it was pretty demanding and from here out till I get my degree I will be taking 3 (except in July and August). These are accelerated quarters, only 8 weeks long. I love the purpose of the Upwards program. I pray things only change for the better with it as the year’s progress.

At least you are honest.....
If you need help with VBS I wasn't kidding, I will help anyway that I can - I'm pretty good with organizational and computer stuff.
Hang it there. I went back to school after 3 boys - one summer I took 21 credit hours just to get done- it is do-able and you won't lose your mind, hopefully :-)
